Customer Reviews
Smooth purchase and installation
I recently bought the Symphonic Orchestra library. The ordering process on their website was straightforward, I just added it to the cart and checked out without any hitches. Post-purchase, I received an email with clear instructions for the Installation Center, which I downloaded and used to get the library files. The download itself was a significant size, but it completed without interruption. The license activation through iLok was also simple, and the library loaded fine into the Opus engine in my DAW. Everything worked as advertised, which is always a relief with large virtual instruments.
Decent value, but installation could be smoother
I purchased the Hollywood Pop Brass library during a flash sale, which felt like a good deal for the quality. The sounds are solid and integrate well into my existing projects. However, the EastWest Installation Center can be a bit clunky at times; it took a couple of tries to get all the download segments to complete without pausing, and then locating the library within my DAW took a minute. Customer service did answer my query about a missing file relatively quickly, so that was good. Overall, a positive experience, just wish the installation utility was a bit more refined.
Reliable as always
I picked up the Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra bundle during a recent sale. This isn't my first purchase from EastWest, and the process was smooth just like my previous orders. Download speeds were good, and the license key landed in my inbox within a minute. Always appreciate their consistency.
Got a good deal on Forbidden Planet
So I was looking for some new synth stuff and saw Forbidden Planet was on sale. Decided to grab it. The download was pretty big, took a while but that's expected for these kinds of libraries. Install was easy enough, didn't even need to look up instructions. It sounds great, totally adds a new vibe to my tracks. The whole thing felt pretty chill, no stress.
Good product, quick delivery
Bought Voices of Soul. Download was fast. Installation was straightforward. Product works as expected. Happy with it.

Thinking of getting ComposerCloud, is the installation process a nightmare?
Thinking about grabbing Hollywood Orchestra during the next big sale. Any thoughts on how it runs on M1 Macs? Heard some mixed things.
Anyone grab Hollywood Fantasy Strings during the last sale? Worth it?
Just got hit with a ComposerCloud renewal bill and it's higher than I expected. Anyone else notice this?
Anyone know if EastWest stuff needs an iLok? I'm trying to avoid getting another dongle for my setup if possible.
Thinking of jumping on ComposerCloud but wondering if they do student discounts? I'm in a music production program right now.
Is ComposerCloud worth it compared to just buying individual libraries? I'm looking at getting into cinematic scoring but not sure how much I'll use everything.
How often do these guys run sales? Really want to grab a few libraries but the full price is a bit steep.
